Complaint and Reporting Procedure
Community Creates Community is committed to addressing all concerns of discrimination, harassment, or inequitable treatment promptly and fairly.
Any individual who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination in violation of this policy is encouraged to report the concern as soon as possible.
How to Report a Complaint:
- Complaints may be submitted in writing, verbally, or electronically.
- Reports can be made to the Executive Director or a designated organizational representative.
- Complaints should include, when possible, details such as the date, time, location, individuals involved, and a description of the incident.
Confidentiality:
All complaints will be handled with the highest level of confidentiality possible. Information will only be shared on a need-to-know basis to properly investigate and resolve the issue.
Investigation Process:
- All reports will be reviewed promptly.
- An impartial review or investigation will be conducted as appropriate.
- The organization will take reasonable steps to gather facts and assess the situation.
Resolution:
If a violation of this policy is found, appropriate corrective action will be taken, which may include disciplinary action, policy changes, or additional training.
Protection Against Retaliation:
Community Creates Community strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports discrimination or participates in an investigation. Any act of retaliation will be treated as a serious violation of this policy.
