Job Title: Nurse (RN/BSN/LPN)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at. As a Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care and support to individuals accessing our services. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of program participants. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a genuine passion for helping vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to program participants, including assessing health needs, administering medications, and performing treatments as prescribed.
 - Conduct health screenings, assessments, and ongoing monitoring of individuals' physical and mental health conditions.
 - Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians and psychiatrists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
 - Educate program participants on health-related topics, including disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
 - Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
 - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
 - Assist in the development and implementation of health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.
 - Provide health-related training and support to program staff and volunteers as needed.
 - Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions and treatment planning.
 - Adhere to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
 
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license and registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
 - Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
 - Proven experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a community or social service context.
 - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
 - Knowledge of health promotion, disease prevention, and public health principles.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
 - Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to working with individuals experiencing homelessness.
 - Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.
 - Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and basic computer skills.
 - Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
